I would like to share my favourite portraits of a series that Jacopo and I took of each other two weeks ago in black and white. I hope you will like them as much as I do! I am a huge fan of the Ilford PanF Plus 50 though I wish we had more light that day.

the last two photographs I would like to share with you from that beautiful sunny Saturday in the forest. April is almost over and I feel like I have not taken as many photowalks as I wished. I do hope May will bring plenty of good weather and photowalks!

a few more shots from our most recent photowalk in the forest. I really love the colours of Jacopo's jacket and pullover: both are designed by a local brand called Makia. that pullover also happens to have the wonderful name of National Park Knit.

on a Saturday two weeks ago I took a walk with Jacopo in the forest: the weather was so lovely we could even have our lunch outdoors. The light filtering through the trees was beautiful so that this song came on my mind.

I would like to share with you these last shots from out photowalk with Wensi. afterwards Jacopo and I got to visit the studio where Wensi works on her wonderful illustrations and we had tea and pastries together: the perfect ending to a lovely day.

towards the end of our photowalk with Wensi the sun finally came out. in these photographs I especially like the way the sunlight shines on Wensi while the clouds behind her still look dark: in my opinion it makes for a very nice contrast.

I enjoyed every minute of that photowalk with Wensi! she had been one of the most spontaneous people I have ever had the pleasure to take pictures of. suddenly she stretched out her arms as if they were wings: that turned out to be my favourite shot.
