This is one of those posts that I'm not sure if it's worth sharing. After an awful week of wind and rain, I was hoping to see a little sunshine during the weekend: obviously I was wrong. The forest was dark, wet and difficult to photograph — I was not inspired at all. This is the beginning of the dullest season in Finland: the leaves are almost gone and the light is already scarce — not something that I really feel like capturing. Nevertheless, I'm glad we visited one of my all-time favourite places, Niskala Arboretum.

P.S. I'm wearing the Samuji oversize Chunky Beanie in orange, which has already become my favourite piece of the season. A spot of colour is all I need during this time of the year — and it's oh so warm!
