Horror story with a happy ending

On Friday I thought about deleting some of the oldest posts on this blog: to my horror though, Blogger jammed and it ended up deleting 50 of my most recent posts instead. Just when I was trying to come to terms with the idea that all those entries were lost forever, my better half — a computer genius and much more than that — managed to download the html content of my deleted posts somewhere online (don't ask me where, don't ask me how). Long story short — after repeating copy, paste and publish a few times — all those 50 posts are back where they should be.
